Miss Dolly Krishnan
Secretary cum Founder Director (Research wing)
NET, GATE-JRF, MSc Life Sciences, JNU
Research Intern, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany

Miss Dolly Krishnan
Miss Dolly Krishnan did her bachelors from St. Xavier’s College Ranchi and masters In life sciences from JNU, New Delhi. She worked as a Research Associate at Yong Loo Lin school of Medicine, National University of Singapore (2015-2017) and then she was offered a PhD in Neuroscience at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany. She served as a guest lecturer at the Zoology Department, Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherji University, Ranchi, Jharkhand (2019- 2022) and is currently in her final year of LLB. With her experience and exposure she realized the plight of talents in the field of life sciences where youths, despite being well qualified and with high potential, are either not given a chance due to lack of employment opportunities or are taken up for contractual positions where their scientific temper remains underutilized or largely undermined or being exploited. The concept of Research wing- “Prayogshala” is the brainchild of Miss Krishnan where well qualified youths are given a platform to display their scientific potential and at the same time their wisdom is passed to the underprivileged local students who lack exposure to research and laboratory etiquettes, proving as a double edged sword for the burning problems in the higher education sector, both regionally and Nationally.

Mr. Mohit Verma
Mr. Mohit Verma did B. Tech in Civil Engineering and worked in infrastructure sector in various states of India for more than eight years. He pursued a Master’s degree in Sociology and is currently pursuing LLB. From the beginning he has been doing social work with a prime focus on teaching children wherever possible, be it parks, grounds, his home etc as he believes that “Knowledge empowers and enlightens”. Thus, he founded the social wing “Kalpana” where he envisions education for all and helping the underprivileged with a mission to fulfill the lacuna of the society, especially focusing on underprivileged children who are trapped in the unbreakable loop of hunger and lack of education. Also, the poor and downtrodden are helped through his constant efforts by receiving food, blankets, donated clothings, minor day jobs, and awareness about various govt schemes.
Our Vision & Mission
Who We Are
Our vision and mission for the trust is to develop scientific temper along with upliftment of the poor of the poorest.
It’s been more than 20 years of Jharkhand’s establishment but regular recruitment of assistant professors occurred only once (only in 2008) and 2nd regular recruitment is currently ongoing under the current government. This sluggish pace of recruitment of professors or subject experts has resulted in downgrading of quality of the higher education especially in the field of life sciences (Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology and other allied subjects) and many well qualified, NET, GATE, SLET youths are roaming around for opportunities in the state, failing to which they are bound to take up either contractual positions (which is also rare recruitment ) or change their field or remain unemployed indicating an alarming rate of wastage of Human Capital.
Furthermore, this has affected the quality of higher education in the state due to shortage of experts and lack of incorporation of new developments in the field of Life sciences. We are witnessing a grave crisis at local colleges and universities where students are not taught the basic ‘practical hands on’ probably due to slow growth in higher education, poor lab facilities, no upgradation in tools and techniques, shortage of experts, stagnancy in incorporation of new advances etc . Simple tools and techniques like dissections, biochemical analysis, bioinformatics tutorials, PCR, Gel electrophoresis, institutional visits, research training in writing, research publication, seminars, conferences, training workshops and others are rare or limited sightings at the state colleges which ultimately hampers the practical training and research shaping of the students . With the aim to address this crisis, the Brainology Scientific Academy of Jharkhand came into existence and to fill this huge void, the Research Wing was established which will provide training to develop the student’s brain to cultivate research enthusiasm, parallely providing a platform to ‘youngsters with expertise’ to train these students reducing the load of unemployment and enhancing quality of higher education , both at the same time. Thus the Research Wing tends to target two of the major issues of the society i.e., quality education enhancement and unemployment. Concurrently , ‘poverty alleviation’ , ‘hunger’, primary education and awareness in the state remains the target of our social wing .
